You are here because: You need to edit your config.asp file.

  1. You need to choose a value for strDBType
    To do this, delete the ' from the beginning of the line you wish to be active.
    Please note: SQL server and MySQL are not fully supported in this version..
     
  2. You need to choose a variable for strConnString
    This is dependent on how you choose to connect to the data. All the options have information at the end of them which will help you.
    Please note: If you choose MS ACCESS 2000 you will also need to specify a value for strAccessLoc which is the direct file path to the database, you can get this info from your ISP. If your database is to be in the same folder as your chat files then choose an option for strConnString that says 'using virtual path'.
